This question is for a friend. They have something called Alcohol Tree Flux on a favorite tree. They are concerned they may lose it. Any of ya’ll have any clues about this. Thanks for taking the time
fermenting sap causes the foamy looking white stuff, shows up on damaged trees that have suffered through hot,dry conditions. I see a lot of it now, from trees that were damaged in the ice/snow event we had winter before last.
Basic care is best remedy, unless damage is severe, then other pests will kill the tree. Water the tree regularly, if that helps,then a little 16-4-8 can be added to give it a boost.
