No power since 9:45 this am. Starting to get a little stir crazy around here.
Been without power for about an hour and a half. Glad I’ve got gas heat right now.

It iced over a little more here in Columbia last night and now it is snowing again. MAKE IT STOP! Still have power though. Sorry for those of you that don’t. Hope they get it back on soon.

We got even more snow this morning in union. Been having lots of fun on the 4 wheelers. Saw pictures of people riding 4 wheelers through the main part of town yesterday. We didn’t get much ice thankfully and very few power outages

Snow and cold killed all the herring I had in my 275 gal tank behind my boat shed last night! Seems the shed roof has a 6" sag but it seem to be melting now but the roads are still not passable! Good luck with The ice and the power down there
Been without power for a day an a half now. Been a long time since we had to sleep in a Cold Dark house. Was told by Elect. Company will be on at the Earlies Sat. or Sunday.
Headed to the coast only to find heater down here has gone on Vacation too. Hope we can get it fixed on Friday, anyway great to be here now.
yard looks like a war zone. Don’t know if any of the trees will be here next year.
48hrs so far without power. They are saying this is equal to Hugo (BS)!! They must have not been here when Hugo hit!!
Now hotels up here are saying it is busy on the selected date so prices may be higher than normal. Isn’t that considered price gouging?

I’m going on record here! There will be a Baby Boom, in 9 months! I’ve got $100 for anyone that lives in an area that can prove they lost power. Doesn’t have to be you, just your area. Any bets? Will take up to $500:question: I bet that area has a Baby Boom in 9 months give or take a few days! A lot of you won’t remember the Blackout years ago in the North East and what happened because of it:smiley:

Still no power anywhere around us, we do have heat and have food and the means to cook it. Also I have rigged my 12v shrimping lights up in the house so we have lights after dark as well. I would just love to take a hot shower!!

I came through the bomb plant today…it is a real mess…road was closed and was ‘travel at your own risk.’
Trees and power lines down everywhere.
