We started out heading to Folly to have one of Rita’s great burgers, but ended up at the TRIANGLE in Avondale. There was a great crowd there, but had plenty of tables open to get us seated right away. Their burger menu is second to none…we split a Blackened Burger and a Big Kitchen Sink salad, couple cold beers and left as happy as could be.
I’ll be back sooner than later…definitely won’t be away as long as I was prior to this visit.
Top notch food, fair prices, and excellent server.

Don’t know if they still do it, but they used to have half price apps and a $5 burger during happy hour. Couldn’t beat it! If you haven’t tried it, get the mahi taco. It’s was an app and half price during happy hour the last time I was there. It was delish!

Avondale is in West Ashley near the newly renovated Steinmart Shopping Center. Continue north on 17 a block from there and it’s on the left. It’s across the street from Gene Haugbrau, Voodoo Lounge… an eclectic neighborhood.
I was there Sunday for the endless Mimosas and mahi taco…AWESOME!
and also near the old krispy Kreme if youre a old timer and remember that…and the geralds recap store…
