Didn’t want to continue the thread on the offshore fishing forum, but someone sent me this pic of the teeth of the big trigger we caught. Yikes,if you didn’t know it already don’t stick your finger in a trigger’s mouth.
Hmmm Fish Orthodontistry.

Those are some old fisherman’s hands rite there!
If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.
I’ve seen them attack a squid rig while diving. They look a lot like piranhas when feeding. Pretty scary.

I wonder if piranhas are as tasty?

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Yes, about like a Bream/redbreast.
Reminds me of something…whatever happened to LSK?
I have a buddy who dives often and swears that he is more afraid of a trigger than sharks or barracuda. Said he was hanging out on a deco stop and a trigger was checking him out super close then all of a sudden just bit him in the forehead. Needless to say he has a special place in his heart for catching and releasing them. Ha
I had one bite me after it had been on ice for 30 min. I was counting fish to make sure we were not over the limit on any other species and it reached out and bit me. Their teeth actually protrude out of their mouth and they bite quite hard. I now proceed with caution around them now but good eating.
