Is there anyone local that can rebuild a trim and tilt unit?

Just be careful where you take it and research online for reviews. My leak was odd because it appeared to be coming from the housing and hull. I had a local shop tell me the housing was cracked so I took it to another shop for a second ‘professional’ opinion. After a diagnostic fee 2nd shop said it only needed a rebuild kit. I picked the boat up and put it back in storage because it was during the winter. $800 and two months later I go to get the boat out of storage to find all of my fluid had leaked out and the leak appeared to be at the original location. I ended up going to a third shop that agreed with the 1st shop that the housing was cracked and the unit needed to be replaced which was over $3000.
