Yam 150. Replaced Trim & Tilt seals.
Now Trim is SUPER slow to almost not working.
Also, if put in reverse, the motor kicks up… Can lift by hand.
What’s happened?
Tighten the manual screw. It’s on the right side of trim unit. Look for the hole in the bracket. It will be a flat head.

Can’t get tighter.
Can’t get anymore oil in.
I can hear air just as it transitions from Trim to Tilt. Have cycled it many times, opening the fill cap to let air out at end of up cycle.
Filled with motor 2/3 down. Now the Trim is better, but can lift the motor by hand…which allows it to kick up when in reverse.??

I think the release screw is a reverse thread? So, turning it left tightens it?
I belive there is a tiny bb inside the trim. Did it come out when you resealed it?

Took boat out Sunday. Can’t back off trailer due to motor kicking up.
Trim is pretty slow…
Any other suggestions?
