Spent the last3 days fishing in the smokies. Caught a bunch of wild bows but no browns or brooks… Also couldn’t get my wife on a fish although for her first time really trying to fly fish she caught on with the casting part very quickly.

Those are some good times. My brother-in-law got me into fly fishing on those up in West Virginia on a couple of trips to see the inlaws. Found out you could throw a fly in salt and i was hooked. Last time I was up that way I caught 5 rainbows and 4 browns. Never been with him that we didnt catch fish. Hard to beat those streams in the middle of nowhere. He always says “trout dont bite in ugly places” lol.
