Went up to Morehead City over the weekend for my buddy’s bachelor party. Twelve of us went - took out two charter boats on Saturday - “Dancin Outlaw” and “Live Wire”. I was on “Dancin Outlaw” - great boat with a great crew. Slaughtered the Wahoo - caught nine, one of which was 38 lbs and one was a 46 lb citation fish. Overall a hell of a weekend.

looks like a great day. two questions - what is a citation fish and what did the captain do w/ all of those cudas?

I am surprised that a 46 pound wahoo is a citation fish. I’d think it would take something over 60-70 pounds.

Great report man. You fished with a great Capt. My first mate job in Morehead was with Capt. Thomas. He taught me a lot. Capt. Junior on the “Live Wire” is one wild man. I’m sure the guys on his boat stayed laughing the whole time.

well… there’s one thing we KNOW about the guy for sure… he is NOT a “connoisseur of barley and hops” if he’s drinking beer from a can.
