Pulled off the dock at five yesterday with the wind already coming out of the NE (Courtland was dead on with his post) We had a great ride out with lots of traffic waiting to get into savanna, but once we got around that it was easy going. Lines in at 7:30. We fished till 2:00 with only one bonita, that was it all day. Hand full of flyers and a few birds all day. No bait no other knock downs or anything. Very slow day to the South for the Miss Magnolia. Ride home was at 25 kts with spray over the hard top the whole way, she did not lay down till we were inside tybee roads. 6 footers with about 3 or 4 seconds apart and no backs.
Sounds like we made right decision in staying home.
Glad you guys made it back safely.

Small ballyhoo on longs, same but different on the shorts, and a plug on the planer. It was fishable the whole time just a slow ride home.
Better luck next time!!
