Took my 12 year old son and my older brother out to find some dolphin Friday. First trip for captain, crew, boat and gear. Got into a couple of small schools and put some in the box, missed a couple, but a hell of a time had by all. Gotta’ say it was well worth the beatin’ we took on the way out. Also able to get a good feel for the boat handling 4-5 footers and fuel consumption. I will post photo’s when we download them.
Now that I officially know my burn rate (3.2 mpg), I hope to be able to reach out a little more to really get into the schools.
what boat/motor are you fishing? good fuel mileage on a not-smooth day.

I have a 22 foot Tidewater with a 200 Suzuki. I am trying to post a picture but struggling with it. I am going to read the picture threads to figure it out.
