It’s all fun and games to do it in person when you know the person, maybe it’s just different because we don’t all KNOW eachother, and don’t post pics and reports for people to “Analyse and Interpret” our posts and reports. There is a place for that no? We all know about the cool cats “over there” that do that. Why do it here?
Also someitmes people can’t see the sarcasm in words on the internet, sometimes people think these people are just straight being an azzhole. Some people deserve the comments they get, ahem FB/PR, but others don’t. I dunno, maybe im getting soft…

Here is the way that I see it... Public forums on the internet will never change. You either have a thick enough skin to participate, or you don't. It's as simple as that. I can see if people get upset over personal attacks, but come on, some people get their panties in a wad over the smallest of things.

Anyway, I don’t change my persona for the internet. I saw a guy on the dock last year and asked him how they did. He told me that they got a bunch of dolphin including a “40 lb’er”. I had never met this guy before and handed him my digital scale. Somehow, between telling me the weight and actually putting it on the hook, it lost 13 lbs. It’s really weird the way that works!

your right dude. i call people out all the time (in person). Not on size of fish or weight, but My favorite thing to do is call out all these cool Charlestonian kids wearing Guy Harvey Tshirts and Belts with fish on them and don’t know what kind of fish it is. I swear to you now, that just about every time I go out, if I see a person wearing a Guy Harvey shirt I go up to them, and say “Cool shirt man, what kind of fish is that?” 9 out of 10 CAN NOT tell me what kind of fish it is. Why do they wear it, and why do people wear Salt Life shirts and never go fishing, or have Chas Angler stickers on their car but never once buy a (**() thing from it.

Anyways, im done. the point is, i agree with you, but disagree because this guy was right. a lot of people quit posting because of all the bullschit people post about others posts. I am a member on another forum where noone ever posts anything negative, and you know what, it’s kinda cool. if people wanna post crap/ and be negative about other peoples reports then go to that “cool site”. im sure they will welcome it with open arms.

Look man everything is ok. Most men I know wouldn’t like being called a liar. This is how I see it you can write what u want think what u want but be ready to deal with what comes with it. I don’t lie about fish if I catch em I catch em if I don’t I dont . I don’t know how many people you walk around calling a liar in person but that can be somewhat dangerous. If your saying u didn’t call me a liar look at how u wrote it. Have a good day and sorry for any confusion.

Sorry you see it like that. I don't think you were lying. I just think you over-estimated the weight. There is a difference between lying and being incorrect.

And for the record, I never questioned your ability. You guys caught a tremendous wahoo last year. I don’t think you ever posted the weight, but it was a LOT bigger than this one and was a hell of a fish.

I hear ya man there is a difference between actual weight and over estimating. The actual weight is the weight I gave. The estimated weight is 40 lbs that came from you. Thanks to all the believers. I just get lucky every now and then. Reel excuse hopefully we will be back out the later this week or the weekend give me a call always got room or you can make room for me. How’s the family

Okay, fair enough. I stand corrected. My apologies. Just out of curiosity though (and for benefit of our own future use), which marina do you guys use to weigh your fish?

I usually would take to Hadrells but we wouldn’t of been able to make it in time being that we left out of Rockville, we used bohicket. I figured they would have the scale up due to the early bird tournament.

Roger.

Nice fish buddy, i gotta join u soon or we should buddy boat out there! Its Brian BTW Tysons dad…

If Im not catching fish, ill catch a buzz!

I’m just happy to see FB again…
