Trippin Out 4-30-11(PICS ADDED)

Finally managed to make the first trip of the year. After debating on which day to go, we decided on sat. Fished around 226 all day, ended up with 5 decent dolphin and a daymaker 60 lb. wahoo. Weather was great all day.

Nice! Did you see a 35’ Tiara out there?

Thanks, Captain Ross

Yep I believe we saw you around 12 when we were heading inshore. Nice boat.Did yall do any good?

Cool wahoo picture.

What is the story behind the dolphin head wound?

Set the trap boys, we going to pass through them again!!

60 lbs my ass!!! Your scale is broken!

57.4 to be exact. Your eyes are more accurate than the marinas scale so you tell me what the true weight is.

The head surgery was needed to retrieve a Zman chatter bait

I would have believed 40, but a 60lb wahoo should make those dolphin a lot smaller.

I hate to break the news to you but your wrong I will try to upload anther pic with a better reference just for you. This is why alot of good fisherman dont even bother posting on here anymore. This is my first post in awhile and nothing has changed, oh well.

Sorry it looks like the silverado tailgate is your best reference.

Nice catch trippin, thanks for the post.

If I was that sensitive, I probably wouldn't post either. The internetz is a rough crowd.

That’s a fat hooter. Id believe 60 by looking at the girth. Nice job guys!

There you go, from the guy who called 113 lbs on an 87lb fish just last week...

After looking at the pics you posted, the fish on my tailgate is clearly larger than your 40 lbers. My day was by no means “EPIC DUDE” but I believe a certified marina scale before I believe the best internet fisherman in the world. Maybe if I keep practicing I will someday to be a internet sensation myself.

Nice catch, when are yall going again?

I feel the same, but I post pics and reports anyways. I pretty much just ignore the comments from the peanut gallery.

Skineej,
not saying your comment is from the peanut gallery, but come on man, we all know you can make a small fish look big by simple camera angles, and sometimes a big fish can look small. why start a fight?

trippin out,
Thanks for posting pictures and the report

I’m not\wasn’t trying to start a fight. And I will agree with you that sometimes a picture doesn’t do a fish justice.

I didn’t attack anyone’s character, fishing abilities, or even write any “your mamma’s so fat” jokes. All, I did was disagree with an obviously estimated weight. When did that become an internet crime? What is America coming to when grown men can’t call bull**** on a “fish tale”?

It’s all fun and games to do it in person when you know the person, maybe it’s just different because we don’t all KNOW eachother, and don’t post pics and reports for people to “Analyse and Interpret” our posts and reports. There is a place for that no? We all know about the cool cats “over there” that do that. Why do it here?
Also someitmes people can’t see the sarcasm in words on the internet, sometimes people think these people are just straight being an azzhole. Some people deserve the comments they get, ahem FB/PR, but others don’t. I dunno, maybe im getting soft…
