Trolling 4-13

Headed a little north, took around a 110 heading. Found a weeline with some rips in 240’ and caught a few fish in the area, but not much happening. Caught a couple dolphin and missed a couple.

Tried pushing out but not much going on. Came back in a little and found some bait to work, caught a wahoo and blackfin off it. Wanted to keep working it but this happened…

So we headed back in. Slow bite but we managed some fish. Wish we could have stayed and worked the bait…

Did you keep the leg, throw it back? Not sure the size limit.)

Any man that doesn’t know how to catch a fish, shouldn’t disgrace a fish, by catching it.

Nice mess of fish. You need to tell your girlfriend to shave her legs.

Love the last pic with the hook still in his leg!

Just saw that!

HARD CORE!!!

Set the trap boys, we going to pass through them again!!

Don’t worry about the hook! It’ll rust out!

How’d they get the hook out? I 've read about the _ _ fishing line loop around bend, push down on eye and jerk method but haven’t seen it done.

Push the hook through the skin, cut the hook with wire cutters, and pull it back through the hole

I never could make the switch to circle hooks but your pics are edging me closer
OUCH! Bet the beer cooler was slap empty time yall hit the beach

forgot to mention taking the hook out was done by a doctor…although we thought about doing it ourselves we didnt have enough liquid courage (alcohol) to try it on the boat…figured it’d be best to let amedical professional to take care of it to prevent the risk of infection…not to mention hospitals have lidocaine to help ease the pain

It sounded like Nason Medical did a great job and had a good price. I didn’t even charge mudminnow for the hook since it was partially my fault…
