What striper bait(s) would be best on Murray for trolling with the gas motor during cold weather? Any suggestions?
Smaller bait umbrella rigs have done well during winter. White and white w/ a little chartreuse have been best. 3-4" swimbaits with #3or4 nickle willow blade teasers.

Spoon, I was going to suggest something very similar to Loon. I would load a u-rig with 2&1/2 inch Creame Lil’ Fishies in white and blue or white and green with a slightly larger swimbait or bucktail as the center trailer. There’s also the so-called “idiot rig”- the bucktail and ice fly combo. I have one ready to go in my rod locker.
No. I’m not fishing this weekend. The outboard and console are bundled up for the cold snap.
