It was a nasty day for us (me, Jazzed and another buddy), but we managed to have a great time. We brought home 3 nice kings (biggest 25 lbs.) and a nice hoo (around 25 lbs. also). We released alot of kings and gaffed and released a few cudas. The hoo was a first for my boat and a welcome surprise. We thought we just had another king until the hoo went through the air like a rocket and we saw the stripes. We lost a few and had a bunch of cutoffs. Most of the fish were caught on diving lures though. The hoo was caught on a solid pink Mirro-Lure.
It may not be as comfortable on my small boat, but it sure makes it interesting and alot of fun. Thanks to the Lord for a fun and safe day on the rocky pond!
Id just like to say Im glad I met Lynnmcd on this site. He has put me on many first and personal best this year. Thanks Brotha!
It made the beating worth it to see those Kings and Whahoo… both first for me!
