What type and where is the best place to get batteries for a trolling motor?

I bought a Duracell deep cycle at Sam’s Club about a year ago. They’re made by Deka. I’ve been very happy with it.
have had about everybrand imaginable in pat 20 years… never noticed much difference just get the biggest you can fit… Got a Basspro at spring classic size 27 99 bucks and no core
Sounds good. Unfortunately, the biggest is my concern. I have to have 3 batteries so I’m going to be adding a lot of weight.

I haven’t done a close check, but, are the Optima brand batteries any lighter? They are definitely more expensive.

i bought three group 29 deep cycle ones from wally world 18 months ago and they are going strong. i have a 112# ipilot and a three bank charger. also have two other cranking batteries that are like new. never any problems . good price and the warranty is good and you can find a wally world just about anywhere. that would be my take on this.
I’ve had good and bad luck with the Everstart Walmart batteries. That’s what I’m running now (2x27s). My previous main battery lasted 7 years. The one just before that didn’t even make it 12 months. So its a tossup. But a cheap one.

I opted for 3 group 27 Everstart Maxx Marine deep cycles. Minn Kota recommended 110 amp his, these are 109. For $86 ea, I’ll give them a shot. Thanks for the replies!
