I know that this is in the wrong section, but I figured it would get more traffic this way.
I have a 24 volt system on my boat and my promariner charger started flipping breakers. What do yall use for your boats, and have you been pleased? I have not been happy with the promariner at all. Between me and two of my friends we have went through 5 of them. I was looking at the guest model, but I don’t know too much about them.
Hook up one of these… if you have two 12v in series, just hook it up to both batteries like normal, no need to break the line between the + and - that connects the two batteries.
I’ve got two of the guest chargers one dual bank 12v model that was on the boat when I purchased it in 2009 the boat is a 2005 so not sure how old it is but still going strong. Because I’ve had no problems with it I purchased a second 12/24v dual bank model for trolling batteries. I’ve read a ton of bad reviews on them but I can only say good things about the two I own. Hope it helps you out.

Anyone have an opinion on the MinnKota two-bank onboard chargers? They have a small rebate right now, and hopefully I’ll be getting an IPilot and battery set-up soon.
I have two of the Minn Kota 210D model chargers on my boat. One is for the 24v trolling motor batteries and the other for motor/accessories batteries. Only been on the boat a year but I’ve had zero issues. When the boat is off the water the chargers are always connected to house power, so far so good.
