Trolling motor just arrived today. It’s a 70lb thrust 24 volt MinnKota bow mount. I’ll be mounting it on a SeaFox 187CC. The boat has a quick connect electrical outlet installed but it hasn’t been connected to anything for 5 years. Any particulars I need to watch out for. I plan to install the batteries inside the console. My battery compartment aft isn’t big enough for the 2 batteries. Thanks in advance.

Use a quick disconnect mount to connect the motor to the deck.
I use DogBones on my boats. Both major trolling motor manufacturers have versions as well.
