Trolling motor repair or replace?

I have a 16 ft aluminum Landau bass boat I came into possession of when a guy had to move out of state.
He has a MinnKota Edge trolling motor bow mounted.
The Edge isn’t the saltwater model and I’m pretty confident there are some internal pieces in the body, (spring mechanisms, etc) that have corroded/damaged and need to be replaced.
My question:
Anyone know where I can get work done on MinnKota in the MtP area?
Would it be worth paying to get it fixed, sell it and replace it with a Riptide?

very little difference in the edge and the SE models
I would suggest fixing it and using it, but if you want a white one on the front, you can upgrade
