I guess it didn’t surprise me that there was fishing line in there, but I’m glad I got it out.
Shiny and new prop:

I don’t know how much difference the new prop will make, but I know the old one was really beat up. The next time I take it out, I’ll report back on it. I replaced the old one with the same model as original.

I suggest changing that shear pin as well if you haven’t already. It is not a 300 series stainless and does corrode causing stress fractures in it. I just redid the seals on my Minn Kota and the pin was in two pieces and not far from failing altogether and rendering the the trolling motor useless = disappointment on the water. Charleston Marine carries the part.
