I have a Scout 162 Sportfish that I bought to use for shrimping, but mostly for fresh water fishing. It has a freshwater foot control trolling motor on it that I remove when I take it to the coast. Lately, I’ve been doing more saltwater fishing and was thinking of replacing it with a saltwater series motor. I just spent an hour reading past CF posts on the subject of saltwater trolling motors and saw where you could put an anode on a freshwater trolling motor to make it last. How/where do you mount this anode and what kind do I get? Any other advice (new motor recommendations, etc.) would be very welcomed. Thanks.
