put in about 8:15 and started trolling bucktails till dark without a bite…switched to plugs at about 9:00 and trolled without a bite until about 9:30 and the drag started peeling off…first time i heard that in a loooong time…finally got him to the boat and then headed in as I had low expectations and only had enough ice to keep my beer cold…i can’t find my scale (probably because i haven’t needed it the past few years) but it is 37" and I think about 20 lbs…gonna try and stop by Richards in the am to weight it

how deep you got the downriggers if you don’t mind me asking ole wise one who catch big fish on thurs.

Well its official, there are no more keeper stripers in Murray. That has to be the last one. That fish would have won big fish and biggest stringer in the last few tourneys. Nice job!
Sounds like a fish story to me. Are you sure you weren’t measuring millimeters!? Nice Job! Need pictures because I’ve forgotten what one that size looks like.

nuh uh…I caught 2 last night.
Stopped at LW this am and it was 20 lbs 12oz proving even a blind squirrel finds an acorn now and then
murry, I had 40 ft of cable out the and the ball was tracking at 36’, my bait was at about 43’

9" rapala sliver…they still make a 5.5" model, but stopped making the 9" version…you can occasionaly see them on ebay
