I used the Squalls on a local charter Captains boat and loved them! I think that they are one of the better budget minded reels

I just walked into hadrells the other day, and they had an absolutely killer deal on some squall 30svw and 50svw rod/reel combos that looked really slick. You could get a whole brand new setup (2 30s and 2 50s) for like $1500 bucks. I think it was 350 for a 30svw with rod and 400 for a 50svw with rod. don’t quote me on that, but i think that was pretty close.
