need a set up for a few trips out with a friend when dolphin get start and I don’t want to spend to much money in one. What would you recommend? All my equipment is for inshore and thats what I do all the time but don’t want to show up without equipment. I had TLD’s 15 and 25 back 10 yrs ago but sold all of them. Willing to buy something new-

West Marine has TLD 25s on Star Rod combos for a really good price. I would check there.

TLD 25’s will do the job and are probably the most cost effective. They are also easy to service, repair and maintain if you have any mechanical skills. That being said, you can get decent used ones on Ebay about half price.

TLD 25 woul be fine. I’d buy a replacement handle from eBay for like $20 because the reel handles are horribly uncomfortable on TLDs.
