Trolling Sat. 4-13

OK, I am going to try some reverse phsycology on mother natue with the curremt predictions for sat. being so bad.
Planning not to go offshore trolling for some tunas and wahoo Sat the 13th. Who else is staying home !!!

Ha! We’ve been doing the same thing calling for 45kt winds & 15-footers at 2 sec.
Seriously, we may stay home Saturday as Sunday is looking a lot better at this point… but that’s all I’m saying Poseiden!!

sailflow sunday looks bad again…

Well, Sunday was looking pretty darn good earlier this morning, but the afternoon wind & wave forecast has degraded a bit. Instead of 10-12mph winds & steady 3ft swells, its now calling for 15-16mph winds & 4ft swells.
It looks like the typical slide forward on the forecast. What was predicted for Sunday morning has slid into Saturday afternoon/evening and what was predicted for Monday morning has slid into Sunday afternoon/evening.
I’m going to keep an eye on it… Hell, maybe by late this afternoon tomorrow will be looking good.

If ya go, Bozo, don’t stay too late before heading back! Early looks to be doable. That is, of course, if the great forecasters do not fudge in the wrong direction!
We have fished deep in those small Wx windows only to have WKS (white knuckle syndrome) the whole way back in to the rocks, when the window closed a whole lot sooner than predicted! Now, that has been when we were fishing on my little boat.

All that I will add is, while I am sitting in church on Sunday morning, I will be thinking of, and saying a bunch of prayers for, the brave fleet!! [:0]
