2011 40hp Yamaha 4stroke. When the motor is running, it is very difficult to put into forward and is not picking up any low range RPMs. When it does finally go in gear the motor is already around 2k. Reverse works fine and everything was working great last Sunday. Just happened out of the blue. Is it a clutch issue? I don’t think it is the cables since it shifts fine when the motor is not on.
sounds like its out of adjustment.
why its out of adjustment has to be determined.
