Trout and Reds

I am new back in town and have been living in St.Simons Island, Ga for the last couple of years. Met some great fishing friends that were from that area that taught me alot about fishing there. I have a boat, but would love to get up with someone that fishes over the west ashley side. I am off of 61 next door to the pierpoint boat ramp but have not been successful. It is a shady ramp with a lot of stumps and impossible to get back at low tide. I have been told that the Ashley River is very hard to fish, but I want to meet someone who can prove me otherwise. I work usually all weekend as a chef but am off during the week (best time to fish in my opinion) drop me a line and let me know.

I’m no guide or even very knowledgeable about the Ashley River but if you’re looking for someone to fish with I’m always ready to throw a line in. The lack of knowledge of the local waterways comes because 1. I don’t own a boat 2. I mainly surf fish because I live on Folly Beach. I am also in F&B and weeks are better for myself as well.
