Picked up some shrimp at daybreak and hit a couple of promising looking spots. Two short trout a per spot was the result. The third spot was the charm as I picked about ten reds off of some rocks in the river. Most of them were rat to lower slot, but it was fun keeping them out of the rocks with my trout gear. There were some bigger ones there as they broke my line twice. I hate the thought of ?? feet of 20lb power pro dragging behind a fish! All the fish that made it in the boat were caught on shrimp and cork. Break offs were Carolina rigged menhaden. Out of bait and off thre water by 10:30. Good luck!
