Trout Bite

Trout bite has been good. Caught a bunch of small ones in the Stono the past few days and a bunch in the Folly. Fishing with live shrimp and mud minnows under a popper as well as DOA paddletail minnows. DOA minnows have been far more effective. Had success on root beer with chartreuse tail, white with orange tail, but the best have been the silver ones and gold ones.

Caught smaller ones in the folly over the last week but caught 12-15 keepers today with the biggest at 17.5”. The ones today were def bigger than the ones caught over the last week in the same spots at same tides. Hopefully the bigger ones are starting to head back inshore. Or maybe it was just better luck?

The big ones don’t go offshore

Thank you for your report!

People will forget what you said…
People will forget what you did…
But people will never forget how you made them feel.
