Trout Eye Jigheads

You all seem to be very fond of these jigheads and I see them in the mouth of most of the fish being caught. I need some! Where close by on HHI can I pick some up next week? I’ll be staying at a resort right in that eastern point of the island. Thanks!

I meant to put this in discussion, my bad. Mods, feel free to move it if you want.

Optiker will chime in soon, but worst case scenario you can buy them online and have them shipped. Quality product and the price is right too.

Our own branded jigs can be found at the retailers on this page http://ralphphillipsinshore.com/retail-stores/
We don’t (yet) have a retail shop near HHI. Closest would be the Marina at Edisto Beach, but thats not close.
You can also get them branded as Z-man product (3 pack). I can’t guarantee that a nearby shop that has Z-Man will also have TE’s but they might.
Else, if you order online I can ship them to you. Most orders leave same or next day, with 2 to 3 day delivery.

Oh man, I leave Saturday morning so I can’t get them in time!

Have them shipped to HHI.

If you’re lucky enough to be fishing, you’re lucky enough.

Yea the closest one is over an hour of a drive from where I’ll be staying. I’m not quite sure shipping it to the resort will work. I’m coming from the Nashville, TN area and driving around Atlanta into Savannah, into HHI. The other suggested route DOES take me right by the Walterboro location but it also adds an hour and change to our total drive time. I don’t want to do that, I already lose an hour getting into Eastern Time. I should have asked about this earlier, I just assumed some local shop carried them since almost all of you guys use these things. I’d love to get my hands on a dozen or so but I don’t think it’s going to work.

Try the local shops. If they carry Zman they might have them.

I THINK they have them at Beaufort Boat and Dock supply in Port Royal. Give them a call, not far from HHI.

Thanks tanksgt

I love em; they’re all I throw anymore these days.

Who should I talk to about a sponsorship?

I would have them shipped to the resort. They are used to doing that sort of thing and you would have them by Monday or so.

That route will take you very close to my house and I could hook you up with a few if our schedules coincide.

I haven’t started using them yet… But if Z-MAN would get off of their lazy behind and sponsor me, I might just decide to get into inshore fishing and throw a couple of jigs on their behalf… If they don’t want to play ball though, I will get mine from Wal-Mart made in China and use those… It’s not my fault if Z-MAN wants to send those jobs out of the country… Maybe they will wise up and know the real deal when they see it…

Haha I love the replies referencing the sponsorship thread. Hey if I catch any fish on these and I don’t immediately get offered a sponsorship, I’m going to black out the jighead in the pics so they don’t get any free publicity from me!

I just duct taped all my Costa hats and yanked the emblems off the Silverado…

Pretty much all of these lures will be irrelevant when my new product “Skinnee-Minnows” (Pronounced “Skinnee Minners”) hits shelves next year… They are so good, that 4 out of 5 fish prefer them over natural live baits. Each bait will come with a unique serial number, and anyone using them will actually have to register\activate them on our website. If you fail to register them, you will not be allowed to purchase any more, and we will sue you if you don’t turn them back in…

thanks for poofing the fun thread. jerks.

Now that I think about it, just for starting this thread I should get sponsored. How many people clicked on your website and looked at store locations just from this thread? Who do I give my address to so they can overnight me one of those 50 packs?

Cracker Larry - That’s very kind and I do appreciate it, maybe we can work something out if I can’t get some at a shop or delivered. I’m going to call the resort and see if I can have it shipped to them.

Pretty soon, here in Tennessee, the striped bass action gets incredible as the temperatures drop and they gather in a canal warmed up by a steam plant discharge. A fluke and 1/4oz jighead is a great combo, I bet these jigheads with that realistic eye would work great for them too.

MTF,

there’s a store just off the island in front of Moss Creek, southern drawl outfitters. i think i saw em in three last month.

you could call em.
