Supposed to be 15+ wind this Saturday morning. That is a hassle to fish in by yourself. I hear trout like nasty weather. I have caught them in all kinds if weather, but 15, I’m on the fence on this one. your thoughts?
thanks for ruirnin’ my plans. I got one window to fish and Saturday morning is it.
I got a few places to get low behind stuff, but it’s a long run from the ramp.
i’ll probably go anyway. only time I can.
I hate soakin bait. it’s hard to feel light rigs in the wind, for me.
There a place in the harbot that I love to troll for trout. They do seem to bite better when the wind is ripping toward the bank. My thoughts are that the wind and waves helps to stack the bait agains the shore and the boat moving around imparts some action to the rods…almost like jigging.
