Trout on the intracoastal

Decided to head out tuesday morning and fish the rising tide at daybreak for a few hours. Loaded up on some mm’s from haddrells and got out on the intracoastal. Water temp was only 60.5 and the clarity was awesome. Tossed popping corks along the grass lines as the tide was rising. Managed a couple of annoying blues and a random black sea bass. Moved around a bit and finally found the trout. Ended up catching 9 total with 4 keepers. Nothing too big, largest was 16 inches. Managed to land one on a trout trick. Once high tide hit the bite stopped. Moving around was the key to finding them. All were caught in 5 to 6 feet of water with oysters on the bottom.

black sea bass in the waterway? those things must be taking over.

Good job. Moving until you find them is the name of the game in November, as the trout will be schooled up.

No, remember they are endangered.
