So we had a good day in the wando. Couple of reds and flounders. Caught a bunch of small trout but not one witth decent size. Wondering if anyone could shed some light on what to do next time to find the bigger ones. Fishing creeks during falling tide with live bait
Bob Sanders, father of the Trout Trick, said his Dad told him “son, a big trout will not tolerate these little trout around”, and then they would move. Sometimes a bigger trout will be around, maybe deeper or on the fringes. But often, they run in similar sizes. The real big ones are generally loners.

Nuff said. Target bigger ones. Use live fish, mullet, pinfish. Be willing to go home with one big one or nothing at all. Go bigger, go deeper. Be willing to fail.
