Left for Bull Bay after Church yesterday; had to be back at Church by 6:00. Took a little looking, but found them on the last two hours of incoming tide. Anchored a long cast from a long point with water washing over submerged oysters. Fish were all around the point. Classic conditions. Fished DOA chartruese shrimp under popping cork. Moving, clear, 62 degree water, near ocean, little wind, oyster point = trout. Sometime. Caught 19 or 20; kept 7. That’s all I know about trout.
I’ll like to fish that region. I grew up in Mcclellanville but lives in the Creek and never fished Bulls Bay. Always heard of big trouts in that area.
Too Fish or not Too Fish
That be the question!

I have done really well around the Bulls Bay area myself on reds. Trout are really good around the oyster flats there
