Trout Tricks

Heard good things about these for bluefish as well as trout. Any input on how to fish it other than basic jigging off bottom on retrieve?

At our Sept tourney, I had a member ask me “so, for real, no joking, do you really use those trout tricks??” My answer, “Yes, of course. I slay the fish with them”. They are my go to bait for pretty much all species. The bottom of my boat is typically littered with torn TT’s after a trip. Just the other day I was having a very slow day on topwater, then tied on a TT and caught a 18.75" trout in the same spot where the topwaters were not working.

Expect the bluefish to slice them up a LOT. You’ll burn through them quickly if you are around a bunch of the “snapper blues” that aren’t really big enough to take the whole thing.

I’m excited to hit the water with them if work like everyone says! I’ll drop back in after weekend let you know how it goes.

I don’t how successful they’d be off the folly pier. But I’d love to hear the results

We have landed some large trout lately in the surf so I figured hey why not?! Catching 22"+ trout on live finger mullet def confirms some big trout lingering around the pier for sure.

I would say those trout tricks produce. I caught a few of my larger trouts with those babies
