Trout

Best day in a long time. Fished with a new guy in Kayaks, a first for me. He had the pedal Kayak, cheater. That was the ticket. Most of the trout were caught trolling in that kayak. After he caught his limit we switched up and I quickly added four trout to the three I had. I was paddling and casting a jig and caught three. Once we switched I was trolling and caught four in like a half hour. Trolling was key as was the lure which Tideline shared. I only share my own discoveries, sorry.

where?

It was a pleasure fishing with ya. What better way to start the new year than fishing with a new friend and hammering the trout. The 25" fish was a bonus.

It was a great way to start off the New Year.
Details of where, what bait, tide, etc. can be had at the next Winyah Bay Gishing Club meeting on Wednesday, 1/9/13, at Hog Heaven around 6PM.

Nice work guys. May have to stop by to hear all that.

Fish went from 18" to a pig of 26" that Rob caught. Most were between 19" and 22". Didn’t need to measure them. That 26" was the biggest one I’ve ever seen. It was huge.

english sent me a picture of your catch! NICE!

That lure works real good! Daughter gave me a gift card for Cabelas. Guess what I ordered today from Cabelas. :stuck_out_tongue:

This is good to see. Nice job.

If any of you regulars on here (boat guys) get the yak bug, I have an extra one and a trailer that will carry two.

Much thanks to some of the friendly guys I have been able to meet for the tips and general advice. The info has been put to good use.

Come on man. Don’t be selfish. The yozoori shrimp ain’t no secret anymore. PaWayne, you’ve been telling all your friends and you know most of them cannot keep a secret. :slightly_smiling_face: Besides, we have been slaying them on this lure down around Mcclelanville all year. Now play nice with everybody on here.
