yesterday the color of choice was Salt Water ASSASSIN, SEA SHAD, ssa2524, (chicken on a chain)(stained water conditions) Most creeks are holding trout this time of year! When the water hits 50, I take a break from trout fishing!
Iām having a hard time finding the trout, too. Iāve been fishing creeks and have managed a few here and there but nothing consistent at all. Live shrimp and zman paddlerz have been responsible for the few Iāve caught.
These high tides have the water flowing real fast in and out of the creek Iām fishing so itās difficult to get situated on a good looking spot while fishing from my kayak.
I like the sea shad too or the DOA version for the olive/glow one.
