Trout

After a long week of exams, I was finally able to hit the water for the first time in two weeks. Got into some trout action and ended the day with 6 around 13"-15" and one at 17" (which I took home for dinner). Chilly but beautiful day on the water!

Here’s a flounder on the fly from the last day of November:

Good job as usual, bud. What were they biting on?

“I’m not a hundred percent in love with your tone right now…”

Used Zman deizel minnowz in pinfish color as well as the paddle tails in new penny rigged on a trout eye or flutter hook

You guys with those fly rods MAKE ME SICK! I wanna get to do that so badly,(learn how to fly rod fish) but for the moment I’ll stick to what I have learned. Nice Post.

Nice Flounder. I crush them on fly up in the OBX. They are pretty easy to catch actually on an intermediate line and Clouser minnow.
