Sorry for the delayed report. Fished the incoming tide on Thursday am and ended up with 4 trout, two on the trout trick and two on the Z-Man Scented Smoky Shad Paddlerz. Moved from that spot, should have never left, to fish a flat that I anticipated getting covered up with the 6.5 tide, but the tide never seemed to get up to its anticipated height and the fish did not move into the area like I had hoped. We did see one really nice fish tailing, but too far away to get a shot and then saw another fish just laying in the grass, but I did not see him until we were too close. Saw a bunch of sheepshead, but could not get them to eat shrimp. They were feasting on snails. Next time I visit this flat I will have some fiddlers we probably saw 8 nice sheeps. It was a beautiful, therapuetic day on the water.
grab some of the snails from the grass as well. Since you seen sheeps eating them
It did not get hi today either
I have never been able to catch a sheep that I see. Lots of em in the grass around here on high tide but I can’t get them to eat shrimp or fiddlers.

coming from you, that makes me feel a little better.
I’ve tried many times.
Compound bow would have caught them, I thought about picking some snails off of the grass, but did not have any small hooks or rig them on.
