Truck bed liners

Planning on getting a Silverado when I get back to the states. What is your favorite type of bed liner? Spray on, drop in, or rubber mat? I don’t plan on hauling bricks, cinder blocks, etc. Mostly dogs, fishing gear, camping gear…stuff like that.

Spray on, and most dealers can get it done for you. You always get stuff under the mat and drop in styles that scratch your bed up.

Spray in for sure. I’ll never have another truck without one. I’ll also never have another one of those drop ins, either. All of your stuff slides around and they just scratch up the bed underneath. A rubber bed mat is a good middle ground.

Light duty = spray in (only recommendation lineX)

Heavy duty = drop in only

What they said. My Tundra came with a drop-in liner. It is heavy duty and has held up for 10 years but, stuff slides around and crap gets under it. I’ll do spray on if I ever get another truck.

Line -x in N Chas did an incredible job with mine, got em to spray my toolbox too. in and out service for what i consider a fair price.

Good guys over there.

Look at where Jesus went to pick people. He didn’t go to the colleges; he got guys off the fishing docks.

I have a drop in with a rubber bed mat on top of it in order to keep stuff from sliding. Was a whole lot cheaper than a spray liner

So according to my googling, a line x’d bed will run about $475-500. Sound about right?

Thats about what mine ran for the premium (shinier, better warranty, Overall better imo)

I think it was 425 for my truck bed and 50$ to spray my toolbox, which i recommend also, its help up great

I got my 2006 Tundra done with Line-X & couldn’t be happier. 10 yrs. and the only marks on it is the paint from the argon bottles I throw in it.

Another option is Herculiner, a DIY roll on product. It is not as good as Line-x or other professionally installed spray-ons but it is much less expensive. Herculiner comes with rubberized granules that prevents slippage. I have had it on my Dodge Ram for 15years (but the bed coating could use a re-coat).
