Took the kids in the Wando Tues afternoon to cast for trout with some grubs for a little while. We got 16 troutses. Slow, but fairly steady. Several dinks, but a handfull of keepers up to 16". Must have undone at least half a dozen wind knots for them, but it’s worth every bit of it, and I managed to get some fishing in myself, too. Taking off some line helped with their wind knots. The fish ate smoke flake and green grubs. Water was clearer and cleaner than expected, per the big tides and wind. As usual, we let 'em all so someone else can catch 'em another day.
