Fished the spoons mid lake today with an old friend. Caught 3 short stripers, 1 largemouth, kept 1 nice channel cat and 45 white perch. Some were as shallow as 43’ and some were as deep as 57’. The chrome 3/4 ounce Cotton Cordell spoons were deadly today. Marked a lot of fish in even deeper water, but his marker line wasn’t long enough to reach the bottom at those spots.
It was a windy, wet and cold (perfect as long as the fish will bite) day. Water temp was never above 50. Great time with a good friend.
