Tuesday morning report

Rookie caught fish…lines in the water at 6:45…7 keepers by 9:00…down rods @ 80–90’ in 135’ of water…nice fish…no throwbacks…fishing out from Jakes…

Good job! now you are probably even more hooked, huh. catch them all in teh same spot?

I’ll be trolling around the towers and in the big water on Wednesday evening hopefully.

“Short Strike”

we caught all the fish in the same drift…it was like a school came thru…we had several doubles at the same time…then it would pause for 10 minutes…and then hits again…

it was a slow drift…the wind never got up as the weatherman predicted… it was suppose to be NWN 5-10…

Only one other boat around me…but I saw several up around Spence Island in the gap…

seems like there are boats in the gap every time. I am going to go out Wednesday night. Plan to pull some bucktails and/or u-rigs at 50-70 feet. May get crazy and try out my stacker clips on the downriggers and pull 2 lines each rigger…
