Went out last night with phishinphag and his brother, John. Caught fish steady from the time we got there (6:30) until 11:00. John got three stipers and a gar, I got three striper, and PP got two. Lot of missed hits. Fish hit herring on downrods from 15’ to 30’ and on freelines. All fish were legal, but skinny and all were released. Some may have been just under or right at 21", but none measured.

No, we went out in Pierce’s jon boat. Lake was nice and calm last night. Calmest night in a while.

didnt freeline after the first Gar…seems like we all missed 2-4 good hits…thebite was certanily on…that’s for sure…we were limited only by the night of the week and bait.
