Tuff Coat paint for keel guard

Anyone ever use Tuff Coat rubberized paint for a keel guard! http://www.wholesalemarine.com/tuff-coat-smooth-rubberized-deck-coating-gallon.html?utm_medium=cse&utm_source=bing

I’m thinking about giving it a shot using 3 or 4 coats of it.

That is a non-skid made for walking on, not keel paint.

And for that price, why not just buy a keel guard?

I would like to put on a normal keel guard but the keel towards the bow of my boat sits on a center roller when on the trailer. Keel guard manufacturers recommend “not” using their keel guard if it sits on a roller on the trailer… So looking for alternatives.
I’ve heard of folks using Rino-liner and other brands of truck bed liner paints for keel guard protection. I’m hoping 3 coats of (smooth)Tuff Coat paint can provide a good level of protection as well.
