Get a vacuum sealer and you can eat frozen tuna for months. Obviously it is not as good as fresh- but it is pretty darn good…much better than frozen DOLPHIN (people such as elton john, boy george, and george michael call them “cory’s”)
pbunn, do you know the captains name of pointrunner? I fish on a boat out of pirates cove and I hear about pointrunner in almost every tournament.
Harry Sea. Thats how I roll.
YFT. And I’ll stand behind that statement till the cows come home. Frozen tuna sucks. Fresh tuna is as good as it gets. Frozen tuna, no matter if it’s vacume sealed or not, can’t hold a candle to frozen dolphin!!!
I think Jeff Maxwell used to be the captain- maybe he still is?
Quit bitc**n and go catching. I saw more Tuna in the hole last August than any other month last year!
I think he might of got his own boat, “obsession” out of pirates cove.
Harry Sea. Thats how I roll.
I second that. Jackets in record high heat. Come on.

2)Look in the background at the sky, the weather sucked last saturday off the NC coast.
It wouldn"t be the first time PQ came in and tried to pull the wool over some rookie’s eyes and then laugh about it later as if all of us fell for it. Although this time it is not his doing, he is a crafty one.
Yellowfins like that off NC in this heat,I think not.
Everyone knows that the only way to catch tuna now is under green lights at night chumming and chunking*
There is one more proof positive thing or “damming bit of evidence” as well, but I will leave that to another web sherlock for now as I am certain this whole thread is bogus.
greg1, was in on this and just gaffed and loaded a bunch of you guys in the box as well. I must say, this is his best one yet.
That is all. Carry on.

The owner and part time captain is Danny Wadsworth. Dave Peck also runs the boat on weekdays. The mate is also a registered captain. We went out with Dave. He went out of his way to catch us some tuna on a bad day (right after the spring semi-hurricane). Most of the other boats were going after Dolphin because the tuna bite was slow after the storm and the Dolphin were hitting good along a break.
We told him we came for tuna because we can catch dolphin at home. He burned a lot of extra fuel to put us on the fish we were after.
It is a top notch group and a nice 60 foot boat. I plan to go back next year or late this Fall. They are booked solid until November.

Harry Sea. Thats how I roll.
Looks like we got some real detectives here on this site.
