Anyone ever tried trolling plastic worms on 1oz. jigheads for blackfins? Saw an article on it previously and was looking for an ■■■■■■■■ on it?
Trolling black plastic eels for blackfin around the offshore humps in the Keys use to be one of the main ways they were targeted down there. A few capts still do it but most have gone to other methods such as live baiting with pilchards or skipping flying fish under kites.
thanks for the reply. I was thinking of something in the 6inch range to scale down if they get finicky.
The eels that were used down in S. FL were in the 6 to 8 inch range. They look similar to a platic worm but had a wide flat tail
