Anyone have a good recommendation on a custom striker for a slate call? I’m ready for turkey season to get here! Haven’t quite mastered the mouth call but I do pretty good with the slate and box call. Figured I might as well get started a little early and tune up. Recommendations appreciated. Wish these 3 weeks would hurry up and go by!
There are a ton of guys on FB that make strikers, look up hunting calls for sale. I think the striker is more important that the friction call. Every striker will give you just a little different pitch than another one. I prefer strikers with a bell tip, good luck chasing the thunder chickens this year.
