Thanksgiving morning … 6:30 to 10:30 …
Meet at 6:00ish and blast off from Acapulco ramp at 6:30 …
$5 per person… 1 fish per person … Winner takes all
… it’s my Wife’s fault we HAVE to fish !!!

Hope y’all have a good time! Part of me always wants to fish, but I fished a Turkey Derby a couple of years ago and found adding fishing into already activity filled day was too much. Who knows? I may put together a Black Friday Derby sometime. You won’t catch me out shopping Friday.

I am starting to believe you Charles. I just got lucky. We had to be at the ramp by 10:30. I caught my fish at 10:16 LOL. I fished Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday and only caught three fish! Each day I never put more than 20 baits in the tank. Probably never used more than 12 on any trip. (Turn the rest of them loose hoping to build a gizzard population in a certain part of the lake LOL)
I tell people all the time the way I fish is extremely boring but every now and then it pays off which it did a little bit on Sunday with a fish around 18#
Also I tried out fishing with the 200 gallon tank in the boat all four days and absolutely fell in love with having that thing in the boat instead of a bait tank and striper tubes.
Not to mention Chip you can legally add weight to your fish if he gets hungry while you’re still fishing!

It does ride better, but didn’t lose or gain any speed…lol…still just sits on 42ish mph no matter the load. It will actually pick up a mph in choppy water vs smooth glass water though. Figure it has something to do with surface tension etc…I really haven’t seen a difference in fuel either. Having the four stroke has made a huge difference.
