This may be a “well duh!” kind of comment, but I believe Murray finally completely turned over Saturday night. It was much later than usual but came on quickly with the cold snap we’ve had. Like we say in SC, we have only 2 seasons-- summer and winter. The fish have been acting as if it turned over for better than a month. It’s been a weird year but great how the fish remained relatively shallow through summer, avoiding the o2 void. Here’s to great cool weather fishing! I really missed our yearly debate on this topic.
They been talking about it a good bit on Lake Murray Fishing Facebook page off and on for the last few weeks. I was thinking it turned 13th or 14th which was last Wednesday or Thursday
I think they decided the winner was the 17th, or at least that’s when it finally stabilized…but who is still fishing any water even close to 60 degrees.

I was just jabbing at ya man…fish are everywhere… found them in temps from 60* to 50*
1-2 more weeks and I can pull out the big baits and get shallow…these dang gizzards have got to bunch up and get out of open water:unamused:

No prob man. Didn’t see it as a jab at all. I’d like to try some more hero or zero fishing this year myself. Just gotta get off my butt and find baits. Finding time with my schedule makes it hard… Good to be back at it on CF.
